SOME E-LEARNING PROJECTS WE'VE WORKED ON
VYUS
We were approached by corporate cyber security awareness specialists VYUS to write, design and build an Articulate Storyline 360 e-learning course on behalf of a British government department. We were provided with various government documentation from which to extract content and rewrite it in line with the latest e-learning standards. With the course content written, we then designed new course templates in Adobe Illustrator, using look and feel supplied by VYUS. The requirement was for the course to be fully accessible to accommodate government staff with varying additional needs. To deliver this we built two routes within the same course: a standard version and an accessible version. The standard version included interactive functionality, gamification and voiceovers created by Amazon Polly Text to Speech software. The accessible version was built to be fully compliant with JAWS screen reader and Dragon NaturallySpeaking speech recognition software.
tavistock relationships
We were approached by Tavistock Relationships, a leading couple therapy training institution, to edit, design and build an e-learning course on behalf of CAFCASS (Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service). The aim of the course is to reduce strain on family courts by educating parents on the court process and trying to resolve matters before cases go to court. We were provided with text written by Tavistock’s experts, which then went to our specialist e-learning editor to be turned into an e-learning course. With the course content written, we then designed new course templates in Adobe Illustrator based on the CAFCASS brand. The course was then built in Articulate Storyline 360 before being provided to their digital partner for upload into their LMS.
Pernod Ricard
We were approached by London-based creative agency Strange Hill to build an e-learning platform on behalf of the world’s second-largest wine and spirits company, Pernod Ricard. The platform had to be capable of delivering SCORM-compliant, accredited courses on desktop and mobile, with powerful options for enhanced interactivity and integration with multiple APIs. The project included timescale and budget constraints, making existing e-learning providers an unviable option, and a complex set of requirements within those constraints included user registration covering both Pernod Ricard and CTH (the qualifications’ awarding body), SCORM-compliant student progress tracking with minimum study requirements and pass rates, and tying several systems together into one seamless user experience for students.
By using a combination of a custom-built MODX website, third-party APIs and course content built in Storyline 360 by Articulate, we were able to automate the registration and student progress tracking processes, build beautiful interactive course content, provide one cohesive interface for students, and ultimately deliver the project at a fraction of the cost of existing e-learning providers.
